Job Title:  Manager Operations Center

Job Summary

To lead field operations in executing the delivery of safe, reliable, efficient natural gas distribution service within an assigned geographic territory. Assumes overall responsibility for compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as best industry practices. Drives excellence through continuous improvement in all aspects of operations. As a member of the operations management team, leads the implementation and execution of operational initiatives, building consistency and collaboration across the organization. Provides direction, clarity, coaching and performance management to a team of front-line leaders, contractors, and field employees to ensure the highest level and quality of customer service at the lowest cost throughout the assigned operating center geographical area.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, reliable system operations and compliance with all applicable codes and standards
  • Coach and develop front-line leader performance, supporting and holding them accountable through effective performance management (i.e., establishing performance standards, driving accountability, coaching performance and development, effectively delegating, providing feedback, and recognizing and rewarding results)
  • Champion the identification, planning, development and implementation of change initiatives, to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Promote collaboration and consistency throughout operations
  • Manages towards aggressive financial, safety, and operational goals
  • Establish and maintain key community relationships to facilitate effective operations and represent the organization in community activities
  • Safe and reliable local delivery of natural gas service
  • Informed and motivated/committed workforce
  • Strong leadership team that achieves results, while increasing in capabilities

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Five (5) years of leadership experience

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work-related experience

Salary Range:

$125,800.00 - $188,600.00
