IT Manager Network Services

Full Time Perm

Shift: Hybrid – 2 days onsite 3 days remote

Location: Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN

The IT Manager Network Services will be responsible for managing a highly complex, enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure (Network) through the efficient delivery of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure (Network) used to support business process and services across the enterprise. This is achieved through the effective delivery of IT services through the management and orchestration of people, products, providers and processes. 

In this role you will work across IT towers and with the business partners to provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT Infrastructures that fulfill the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure network engineering, infrastructure network operations and IT Network service support.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Professionally develops self and staff by seeking out educational opportunities/knowledge transfer; keeping abreast of professional standards and publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.

  • Communicates with IT leadership and senior business leadership to review infrastructure strategy and technical roadmap.

  • Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to design improved infrastructure (network) and operations support processes.  Drive management and organizationally driven initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.

  • Effectively communicates with Service Providers, sub-contractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure timelines and deliverables meet or exceed business partner needs

  • Demonstrates improvements in process and technologies working closely with Enterprise Architecture to evaluate and recommend new infrastructure technologies.  Deploys best practices and industry standards.

  • Plans and manages a portfolio of IT initiatives ranging from operations, engineering and projects / programs that are comprised of highly visible, high-profile projects that span the organization and have significant enterprise impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in voice, LAN, WAN, CISCO ACI, cloud connectivity, or similar complex, enterprise-wide IT management experience

  • 2+ years of experience leading teams or projects

  • 2+ years of experience with cost management and resource capacity planning

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Process Analysis skills and Business Process Mapping

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL experience preferred

  • Familiarity with the Energy Industry is a preferred

Salary Range:

$125,800.00 - $188,600.00
