IT Coordinator - Entry - Level
Full Time Perm
Shift: Hybrid - 2 days on-site 3 days remote
Location: Hammond, IN
The Operational Technologies(OT) Team supports the NIPSCO Electric Environment, the environment encompasses several sites including two Control Centers and over seventy substations in Northern Indiana.
The teams that encompass Operational Technologies include:
Applications – Team that manages the applications and the Energy Management System within the environment.
Security – Team that monitors and manages the network configuration and firewalls and security in the environment.
Systems – Team that manages the servers and workstations within the environment.
The IT Coordinator will provide support for the Operational Technology Team leaders and specialist. In this role the analyst will serve as a coordinator for new and existing projects as well as coordinating change and work requests.
The IT Coordinator would also pull metrics data and give weekly status to projects within the Operational Technology Environment.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Administer customer satisfaction surveys
Day-to-day monitoring, analysis, and reporting of all IT service metrics, utilizing operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and to ensure alignment to business priorities
Compile performance metrics for the weekly CIO Huddle and monthly from across IT
Track IT performance against agreed SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Gather data related to Service Level Agreements appeals submitted by Managed Service Providers
Compile performance metrics for the weekly CIO Huddle and monthly from across IT
Review and validate SLA credit notifications and calculations given by Managed Service Providers
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
3+ year of experience working with Microsoft office application such word, PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Visio
3+ years of experience presenting to groups
3+ years of experience working in a customer service role
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations Certification
Knowledge of the contract structure and terms, and the relationship of the services to the business operations they support
Knowledge of Service Level design
