Job Title: Strategic Supplier Management Sr Analyst

Job Summary

The Strategic Supplier Management Sr. Analyst owns the development, implementation, and administration of the supplier management program.

*Locations flexible across NiSource Operating Territory, however Columbus is preferred

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains a governance structure for the program, driving adoption and monitoring compliance
  • Maintains the program processes, templates and tools to assure consistent quality
  • Develops and updates the segmentation of suppliers into defined groups and sets expectations for management of each type of supplier, including engagement cadence
  • Recommends points of contact in the business to own the supplier relationship and provides relationship owners with resources, guidance, and advice on procurement best practices
  • Oversees business management of suppliers, including attending key supplier meetings (e.g. QBRs) and handling escalations
  • Administers the Supplier Risk Management Program

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ procurement or strategic buying experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working directly as part of a supplier management function
  • Strong knowledge of supplier management best practices and ability to partner with business/supplier stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strength in partnering with and influencing business leadership with varying priorities
  • Executive presence, confidence, and presentation skills to communicate a value proposition to a wide range of levels

Preferred Qualifications for Position

  • MBA
  • Utility industry experience

Salary Range:

$91,000.00 - $136,600.00
