Legal provides support for all aspects of the Corporation, including rate case development, acquisitions/divestitures, SEC disclosure, various forms of litigation and regulatory interpretation/analysis. The rush of meeting the deadline
One of my favorite activities is the year-end close. Handling such a large amount of data with accuracy and successfully meeting the deadlines associated with year-end is a real adrenalin rush for me. The close is the culmination of all of the work we do—it’s a fascinating challenge and an achievement I’m proud of every year.

It takes a great team
Achieving success in procurement for a large organization requires an outstanding team, which I’m lucky enough to lead, and the ability to thrive on change. One day we’ll send RFP requests to 220 hotels and the next day focus on an environmental remediation construction project. We’re involved in purchasing for IT, facilities, fleet, HR, environmental health and safety, travel, logistics and more. One of the things I’m most proud of is building a wonderful team that welcomes new challenges and makes great things happen every day.
