The Information We Collect About You and How We Use It

We collect and maintain certain information when interacting with job applicants. The information may be gathered through this Web site or by email. For example, we require you to provide your name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number in order to create a profile on this site. Creating a profile allows you to apply for current positions available at NiSource. You may edit the information on your profile by logging into the Careers site and going to “My Profile” under “My Career Tools.”

If you submit a résumé on our site for a position, your résumé will be forwarded to the appropriate NiSource representative for consideration and review. Please do not include sensitive personal information on your résumé, such as your Social Security Number, financial account number, driver’s license number, or government issued identification number. Please note that we may maintain profiles and résumés in our database for future reference so we can continue to consider you for positions on an ongoing basis.

If you submit the contact information of your references, please note that we may use this information to contact them. If you do not wish for us to contact your references, please do not submit their information to us.
